The Metropolitan Police Service has launched a youth website to keep young people safe. Aimed at 11-16 year olds, Safe informs young people about the crime and safety issues that matter to them – from bullying and drugs to gangs and knife crime – and includes contacts for where to go for help.
You can call 101 to report a crime that has already happened, seek crime prevention advice or make the Metropolitan Police aware of any policing issues in your local area. If a crime is taking place, or somebody is in immediate danger, always call 999.
If you are deaf, deafened, hard of hearing or have a speech impairment, you can use a text phone to call the police, dial 18000 in an emergency or dial 18001 101 if it is not an emergency situation.
